Healthy Roots
Project is located at the back of the Plymouth Coach Station and is aiming at reconnecting the site to the rest of the city. It introduces a Healthy Roots - community-led Food Hub.
In order to reintegrate the bus station and the surrounding areas, a series of changes are proposed to be implemented, including introduction of the CCTV on site, increased public street lamps. The design proposal considers the importance of the station and the fact that it works 24/7 and suggests certain changes to environment in order to make the area safer including the building proposal of the Centre for Treatment and Prevention of Obesity that would function just like the station 24/7.
