Connecting Plymouth is a large project that suggests a design for the large area in Plymouth. Being previously heavily industrialized, the given zone has separated itself from the city. The produced Masterplan suggests ways of reintegration of the area within the city - Connecting Plymouth.
In order to reintegrate the bus station and the surrounding areas, a series of changes are proposed to be implemented, including introduction of the CCTV on site, increased public street lamps. The design proposal considers the importance of the station and the fact that it works 24/7 and suggests certain changes to environment in order to make the area safer including the building proposal of the Centre for Treatment and Prevention of Obesity that would function just like the station 24/7.
