Lost and Found

Exploring the capacity for the transformative resilience of everyday ritualised performances and co-joined connectivity to place and identity in the context of future climage change

Contributing to research led by Professor Robert Brown & Dr. Zoe Latham, I participated in community engagement with local primary school children, exploring their visions of Plymouth 100 years into the future. Through conversations about climate change, flooding and environmental responsibility, we gathered perspectives from the next generation and explored the use of AI to visualise their imagined futures.

The project builds off previous and current work with Plymouth City Council and the Plymouth Sound National Marine Park, and directly engages with the voluntary sector organisation Plymouth Octopus, the Tamar Valley National Landscape, and stakeholders from each organisation. While advancing understanding of ritual’s transformative potential in the context of future change, it will also contribute to discussions on and formation of partner’s policy.
