LANDSCAPE DESIGN│LARGE TO SMALL SCALE DEVELOPMENT

“russkiya gazony”

Russkiye Gazony - Russian Lawn Grasses and Landscape - a landscape design company based in Russia, specialising in landscape architecture, planting design and outdoor environments. The practice undertakes projects of varying scales, ranging from small private residential landscapes to large-scale developments, including government-commissioned projects. Its work combines landscape planning, planting strategies and technical design to create functional and visually appealing outdoor spaces.

My responsibilities involved assisting with technical drawings, developing landscape proposals and collaborating with engineers and other professionals. Previous experience with AutoCAD proved particularly valuable, allowing me to contribute effectively to ongoing projects. During my time at Russkiye Gazony, I had the opportunity to shadow the company director and subsequently work closely with a senior landscape architect, gaining valuable insight into the professional processes of landscape design.

The experience introduced me to client communication, negotiations and fieldwork, while significantly expanding my knowledge of planting design, landscape materials and the relationship between built and natural environments.
