This was a group project/competition, providing an opportunity to test our design abilities. The aim was to create a functional reception for our Student Union and a small kitchenette. It was quite challenging as the area was closed at that moment due to the COVID-19 outbreak. So the team had to do an extensive online research in order to get the proper dimensions. We also used our knowledge of the Human scale in order to make it as comfortable and inclusive as possible.

SU Reception

Working in this Team allowed me to test my leadership and multi-tasking skills. I was tasked with designing the Desk as well as the model for it and Visual.

It allowed me to showcase my Revit abilities as well as Design and Photoshop ones. Being the only person that had knowledge in Computer 3D modelling I was able to guide the other members and help them to learn more.

SU Bar

The design for this Bar/Kitchenette was created in order to compliment the Reception but also overall welcoming atmosphere of the Student Union area. As it is visible from the visual the whole zone has Timber in it so we have decided to reference it in our design as well. While it might not be the cheapest option, this design characterizes itself as being modern and sustainable option.
